When Kay and Jen were about 12 and 9, Victor and I took them on a two week road trip from South Carolina to Oklahoma and back. We spent about a day in hot tourist spots along the way including New Orleans, NASA, Oklahoma Federal Building bombing site, Graceland and more. It was out of this trip that my first archival scrapbook was made. It was a trip I will never forget.
Right now I have an overwhelming need to take all four for my children on a similiar type of journey. Together as a family, I would love to have the use of an RV and travel from here to California, go north and then travel back to the east coast.
Wouldn't that be fun?
